I joined the Laborers’ Union after moving to Alaska in 1989. My career began on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. I worked from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez with jobs starting as an apprentice working up to General Foreman and finally General Superintendent.
In 2003, I came to work in Anchorage as a Business Agent for Local 341. Three years later I became the Business Manager / Secretary-Treasurer. It is a privilege to serve the hardworking men and women of Laborers’ Local 341. I always encourage active involvement from our members and am committed to the values and ideals that the Union stands for.
In addition to my role as Business Manager, I serve as the President of the Alaska District Council of Laborers and the Vice-President of the Alaska Petroleum Joint Craft Council and the Alaska AFL-CIO. I was recently appointed to the Alaska Workforce Investment Board by Governor Sarah Palin and am a member of the AGIA Steering and Implementation Committee.
My wife, Kelly, and I live in Eagle River with our sons, Hunter and Brody, and our daugther Roxie.
