I moved to Alaska in 1989. Shortly after arriving here, I joined the Laborers Union and went to work on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.

I started as an apprentice in the Laborers and worked my way to General Foreman. In 2000, I moved to Valdez as the General Foreman for Houston/Nana at the Valdez Marine Terminal. I finished my work in Valdez as the General Superintendent for Houston/Nana.

In 2003, I came to work in Anchorage as a Business Agent for Local 341 and am proud to represent the hardworking members of our local. I always encourage active involvement from the members and am committed to the values and ideals that the Union stands for.

I was honored to become the Business Manager/Secretary Treasurer of Laborers’ Local 341 in December of 2006.

My wife, Kelly, and I have been married since 2002 and have two sons, Hunter and Brody and call Eagle River our home.
